Politics, often considered the art of governance, can turn into a spectacle when led by individuals consumed by arrogance and impulsiveness. The story of one of Pakistan's most controversial leaders highlights how aggressive and abusive behavior can lead to downfall.


This leader built his politics on confrontation and moral superiority, often dismissing opponents with terms like "oye." His speeches were full of contradictions, frequent U-turns, and blame-shifting. He harshly criticized women and political rivals, while his claims of unmatched genius distanced potential allies.


During his leadership, new political terms entered public discussions. However, his time in power was tumultuous and ended with a no-confidence motion. After being removed, he began blaming others, first accusing the U.S. of orchestrating his fall, and later targeting former allies like General Bajwa and political families. He popularized terms like the "London Plan" to portray himself as a victim of conspiracies.


On May 9, 2024, his followers attacked over 200 sensitive locations in Pakistan, causing massive damage. A later call to action on November 24 faced severe retaliation, signaling his declining influence. These events led to numerous criminal cases against him, with convictions piling up and the possibility of facing military courts.


His party is now fractured, with loyalists divided into groups. Internal conflicts threaten to split it into several factions. Government crackdowns have weakened his social media presence, and lobbying efforts abroad have seen limited success.


Even within his family, disagreements are evident. His wife and sisters reportedly clash over the party's future leadership. Despite this, he fully trusts his wife, Bushra Bibi, who plays a central role in his life. Recently, she alleged that Saudi Arabia opposes him, further complicating his narrative.


From jail, he promises a "big card" that he claims will change everything. While his remaining supporters wait for this moment, his future looks uncertain. His party's divisions and his eroded credibility suggest his legacy will serve as a cautionary tale for arrogant leadership.


Pakistan now stands at a critical juncture. This episode teaches the need for leaders who prioritize humility, vision, and real progress. It's time to focus on policies that unite, rebuild, and inspire rather than divide and destroy.
